Bread Made From Charcoal!

As I was studying my notes one night, my housemate joined me at the table bringing alone this to eat:

Can you figure out what it is? Well, obviously it is black. It's soft. People usually have it for their breakfast. Still can't guess what it is?

It is actually bread! But in this case, it's called...

Bamboo Charcoal Sandwich

I'm not sure whether you have seen or rather eaten this before but surely this is my first time looking at such a thing! Can you imagine bread which is made from flour can actually turn out to be black in colour?!

So being curious, I had a small bite...

Totally tasteless! Swt!

Check out the ingredients:

Do they really mix charcoal inside before thay bake the bread? Hmm..hmm.. If they do, then i guess charcoal is tasteless then. Haha! Feeling hungry? Go get yourself one (check out the shop's address)! I'm not sure whether my housemate really got this from Johor or did he just bought it from some shop in KL. Gotta ask him tomorrow. =)

Black bread. Haha!

i have eaten that bread before and it's just like a normal bread except it belongs to a category called health food. and that bread is expensive. it's RM6! but i think that's a normal price in kl since bread story and such is selling their bread over 6.

I heard that charcoal is somehow healthy or able to help to prevent some bad virus or something. Will take charcoal especially when you got diarrhoea or vomiting, but of coz, charcoal from doctor but not the bbq kind of charcoal.
