Back for a Short Update! Food!

Wow! It has been ages since I’ve updated my blog! Because of that, my unique visits have dropped a lot! Hopefully I’ll get my hits back up soon. Even my ads are not appearing that frequent already. So sad.

Why I haven’t been updating my blog? That’s because I’ve been busy getting ready for the big city! Yeah, I’m going to start studying soon; Next week as a matter in fact. This whole week was the orientation week (for those who don’t know yet, I’ll be studying in KTAR Setapak). So I was in KL on Sunday right up till Wednesday (skipping the rest of the orientation days *ngek ngek*).

Nothing much happened there. I just spent my free time going online, practically the whole day right up till 3am in the morning! I’m not going to elaborate on what I did during my stay in KL because if I do it’ll be a boring post of my daily life (I don’t really like to read ‘daily life’ entries =.=).

Anyway, instead of words here are some pictures. Sushi! I ate this for my dinner during the second night there.

Then this MEGA MAC was for my supper on the third night!

Finally, I received the CDs containing pictures which my friends and I took during outings and events. So, like I said, instead of words, let the pictures do the talking. ;D

These three pictures were taken during my class party (Lower Six) in my house.

Class photo with class teacher, Pn. Kamales! You’re the BEST!

Class photo with Mr. Koi (maths)! Fav quotes: You differentiate your backside! Hang yourself!

Class photo with Pn. Geetha (pengajian statistic). Every day graph and Bahagian C! peningz

Class photo with Pn. Tan (chemistry)

Caught talking in class! Aiks!

Another class picture!

More pictures coming soon! You have to wait till I’ve finished uploading them into my online photo album. Till then, take care!

Feeling Affection More Before Than After

When you like someone and that someone likes you, eventually both of you will end up together. Going out for regular dates and spending alone time together are among the things couples do. My question is this, which part of the whole relationship do you think is the most exciting. In other words, when do you feel paling syok throughout the whole relationship?

My friend and I came to an agreement and have the same opinion. Here’s how it went. One day my friend and I were spending the night at this place called La Salle Centre. We were going to have our STPM trial exams, so we stayed there to study all throughout the night but that’s another story. Back to the main point, one night, we lepaked in the room, getting enough rest before studying. So we had a guy to guy talk. Haha! Why you girls laughing?! You girls can have girl’s talk; we guys cannot have guy’s talk izzit? So we chatted mostly about girls and relationships, if not what else? Pedicure and manicure meh? Blahx3…Then he said something like this, “you know when the best feeling is when you like someone?” Then he continued, “It’s the time before you start a relationship; the time when you’ll be guessing whether the girl likes you or vice versa.”

I totally agree with him. The paling syok moment would definitely be this phase where both individuals would be guessing whether the other likes them back or not. =D If there is chemistry, and then both persons would think of so many ways to tell the other person, both finding ways to confess to each other yet do not want to make it too obvious. Am I right?

Anyways, according to me and my friend, such feeling will be lost once you start to be in a relationship with your special someone. The feeling of being loved will not be as much as the time before you two got together. I’m not saying that the feeling is lost forever, maybe some of you couples out there can maintain that level of affection but for some it’s just hard to reach that level again. Do you understand what I’m trying to say?

If you don’t understand, then ask someone to explain it to you =P. To all those happy couples out there, I wish you all the best of luck in your relationship and to all the not so happy couples, erm, read my previous posts and figure out what’s causing your problem.

Anyway, I’m posting too many entries about relationships and love these few days. Gotta stop for awhile now. Haha! Leave comments, kay? Till next time, chao!

Never Start a Relationship So Soon As That Will Kill It Faster

(Note to loyal readers: I know this entry is kinda long and no pictures summore but do take time to finish reading it lah. I very sanfu type gah. Comments are more than welcomed.)

Ever been in a situation where you get involved in a relationship which then ended so fast that you were unaware of it? For example, if you are a girl, you begin dating the guy once he succeeded in courting you. If you are a guy, you go out with all your might courting the girl of your dreams just to be able to get together with her. Few months later, pots and pans fly everywhere and both of you break up. Familiar story, right? I bet most of you had heard of this situation before and some may had been in the situation itself.

So, what’s the rule if you want to get involved in a relationship? Boy likes girl, girl likes boy. Boy asks girl. Both get together. Isn’t that how it usually happens? Well, to some that might be the story but to me I don’t look at it this way anymore. Before I go on further, I would like to say that I’m just giving my opinion. So, all of you couples out there don’t come to my house with your parang, hammer, tongkat, M16, cangkul, sledgehammer, etc. to hemtam me okay?

Well to me the ‘boy likes girl, girl likes boy’ rule doesn’t really apply to me anymore and I quote what my friend said some time ago, “Why want to get into a relationship so fast. They don’t even know each other that well.” (or it was something like that). I gave this a thought, and realized that there’s some sense to it. It’s true. Many couples start their relationship so soon. After boy gets girl, both start liao. I mean, come on, you don’t even know that person inside out; wanna start a relationship so soon? Just because the girl has the looks and the S-yeng or maybe some personality which you like, then you go head over heels already. Then you will consider on courting her. Go buy flowers lah, buy present lah, treat her makan lah, this lah that lah. After few weeks, girl gets her feelings touched; this then results in boy gets girl. This is usually what happens; well at least I’ve seen a couple of cases like this recently. Not long after that, problems arise. Fight, quarrel, boxing match, wrestling match. All of which will end up with both of you breaking up. Most of them do, I guess. Maybe some won’t break up lah but the feeling you both once had will not be there anymore.

Therefore, this is what I think you should do if you want to get into a relationship with another person. First, you should be friends. Get to know each other well. Take note on his/her favourite colour, pastime, movie, music, dog’s name, cat’s name, invisible friend’s name, blah x3. Go out with him/her as a normal friend. Go watch a movie, have lunch, dinner, shopping. Do things you normally do when you’re in a relationship but in this case keep it at ‘the friend’ level. Und? During this time, you’ll get to know each other better. You’ll get to know about his/her favourite pastime and also the dog’s and cat’s name XD. During this time, the guy patut jaga the girl’s hati lah, if you know what I mean.

Do this for awhile, the longer the better. The guy should only make a move when he is truly sure that the girl already has feelings for him. What are you asking? I said the longer the better and you are scared that the guy or the girl would run away to another person? Haha, if such a thing happens then I can assure you that that person is not the one for you. If he/she runs away to someone else, this means that he/she doesn’t have the hots for you. Someone who really likes you will stay and wait =].

Months have passed; you two have become the best of friends, closer than ever. Finally, the guy breaks the questions and both of you end up together *aww*. Happy ending, right? Haha, maybe. It’s all up to you two now. XP

Agree with what I said here? Do you have your own opinion? Leave me comments. Anyways, check back soon for another update where I will blog about ‘the best feeling you’ll have during a relationship’ or more like ‘the best feeling you’ll have before you get into a relationship’. Haha! You didn’t get what I said? Then come back soon for the update.

Nowadays, my entries all emo geh. (o.0)

Jealousy Is All The Fun You Think They Had

Have you ever been jealous of anybody before? May it be your friend or just some person you know by name. Have you every gotten jealous of their looks, their wealth, their personality, the freaking smart brain they have, etc? I’m sure most of you have had this feeling before. I know, it sucks!

When jealousy comes running through your veins and mind, you’ll start to hate yourself and feel tiny as ever. “Why can’t I be like him/her?!” This simple line will be going through your head over and over again. Like most people, I’ve had this case like only a googillian time! Jealous over people who has the brains and the brawn. Jealous over people who has wealth and plastic cards. Jealous over people who has a great relationship with everybody, family and friends. Jealous over the freedom that they get. The list can go on.

Every time this feeling kicks in, I’ll be feeling the lowest of lows and the blue-est of blues. There’s nothing much I can do but to accept the fact that it just is. There’s no way that I can change this. I’m stuck with it.

Is there a way to change it? Is there a cure for this? Let me know if there is one because I need - quoting myself, “a smart brain.” An intelligent brain which has huge RAM!

Well, that is one of the many types of how jealousy is felt. Here’s another.

Have you ever had a very close friend? A friend that you’re really super duper close with. To make things simple, let’s say that you are in a relationship, girlfriend boyfriend type. Now, you two must be super duper close right? The query comes like this; have you ever been jealous just because your gf/bf talks or interacts to someone else of the opposite sex? You’ll feel like a volcano is about to erupt inside of you but you just hold it in. Then when you’re alone with each other, you bring this topic up and then begin fighting. Even worse than how dogs and cats fight. Then jahanam-lah your relationship! XD But that’s not the main point here.

What I’m declaring here does not only appoint to gf/bf relationships. Like what I first mentioned it also applies to super duper close friends, etc. Whenever he/she mingles with others do you feel left out all of a sudden? You feel that the strong bond between you and that special someone isn’t there anymore. You feel very far apart from each other. You feel lost. The emotion starts to kick in. You start to feel jealous. You start to think, “why am I left out of their conversation?” Then you’ll just sit there like a dungu listening or you’ll just jump into the conversation pretending that everything’s okay. Now this feeling really sucks!

That’s one example. Another is when your special someone gets to go out with his/het friends but your not invited. After the outing, you get to heard all the great fun they had. You stumbled upon pictures they took during the day out on some picture hosting site. You start to feel the volcano again. But hey, people go out with his/her friends normal la. Why think so much? That goes on in your head right? It’s just that you can’t stop from feeling that way. The volcano. *BOOM*

So what is really happening over here? Getting the green-eye over nothing! Weird? Believe me, it happens. Every time.

This is something you guys should really ponder about. Comments really appreciated.

“Jealousy is all the fun you think they had.” quoted by Erica Jong.

Photo Editing & Macro Shots

Are you always feeling bored? Do you suddenly realize that you have a whole lot of free time to yourself? This was what I did one day after coming back from the library.

I took crappy pictures of myself using the webcam. Edited the pictures using 3 different graphic programs and made this. Haha!

This was how I did it. You can do it too.

Step 1: Captured pictures of myself with webcam.
Step 2: Reduced noise using Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Step 3: Edited pictures using Picasa2.
Picture1: warmify
Picture2: B&W
Picture3: I’m feeling lucky, graduated tint, warmify
Picture4: tint, glow
Picture5: I’m feeling lucky, graduated tint, B&W, film grain
Picture6: tuning (fill light, highlights), soft focus

Step 4: Combined pictures using nEOimaging v1.0.1. Frame added.
Step 5: Added text using Adobe Photoshop CS2

Woila~! You have created a self made horrible JPEG of yourself. Haha! You can’t blame me for doing this. I was bored you know.

Enough of crappy pictures. Here are some not so crappy pictures. These are actually macro shots of flowers, plants, etc. I took these pictures with my PnS camera (Panasonic DMC-FX12). I’m no pro photographer. As a matter of fact, I don’t know anything about photography. What I know about macro shots is that you go really close to the object and snap! So please leave comments, yeah?!. :)

Opps! Something went wrong here. Focused wrongly. :S

This picture is not a macro shot. I just like how the canopy looks.

What Does Falling in Love Mean to You?

Have you ever been in love? Or have you had a crush on someone before?

For those of you who had been in a relationship before or who is in a relationship now, I want to ask you how much do you understand about love? How sure were/are you that you would/will go far with that special someone?

I guess first of all, everything starts of as a crush. You get that tingly feeling inside of you whenever you are around that person. You try to make conversation but somehow you just seem to ask dry questions or some may not even dare to begin a conversation. After that, you’ll try to get the opposite sex’s attention by doing something, which at the end of the day you think back and realize that you have been a fool. Am I right? If things do go well for the both of you then from strangers to friends you will be. Soon feelings will grow blah, blah, blah and both of you get together. Each of you start saying mushy things to each other like ‘we’ll grow old together’, ‘I love you forever blah, blah, blah’. Happy ending.

Let’s say all of a sudden, the two of you break up? May it be a clean break agreed upon both side or someone just decides to dump the other. You start to grief and so does the other; few months later everything seems to be normal again.

But the main question about this topic comes after this. You somehow seem to fall in love with somebody else and the whole cycle repeats itself once again.

You get together, you break up, you get together with somebody else, you break up…

So how can you be sure that you’ve found the right one when you seem to be able to get in and out of a relationship so many times? You’ve confessed your love and affection to so many people, cycle after cycle. How can you find true love this way?

How sure are you that you’ve found the right one because both of you may just end up going separate ways in the end. That’s a question for you to ponder about if you know what I’m trying to say so far.

Why Do Some Blog Entries Get Nanged into the Most Popular Rankings and Yours Doesn’t?

Only blog entries with interesting and fascinating content will get nanged more. Blogs with articles being able to captures one’s interest will receive more hits. Do you agree? I certainly doubt these statements.

I’ve came to realize that most of the Innit blog posts which have reach the Most Popular Entries, the majority of them are using cheap and easy ways to increase traffic in their blog by tricking readers. Have you noticed that these days most of the popular posts titles and content include ‘exchanging links’ and ‘how to get traffic into your blog tips’.

These are definitely not high quality entries. How come these entries get nanged the most? That is because most bloggers being bloggers would always want to find ways to increase traffic in their blogs and having seen these posts on exchanging links and tips they will say, “Hey, why not give it a try”. So, that is how these cheeky bloggers (those who posted the ‘exchanging links and tips’ entries) get their traffic which you will not get for a million years.

I have also realized that most of the ‘Popular’ blog entries in Innit have these words in their entry title. For example, nipples, sex and molested are among the favourite words. Are these words that attractive to readers?

Somehow, I do hope that Innit will be able to filter out quality posts with the not-so-quality entries. This way, it will be able to produce the best out of the blogging world.

Anyways, what I have said is just a harmless thought and it was not meant for me to fire at anybody. What I want from you guys reading this is not for you to take a baseball bat and come after me but what I really want is for you to leave me comments on what you think about this matter.

Happy blogging peeps!

So You Think You Dance 2

The most anticipated dance competition has finally premiered on television last night! So You Think You Can Dance 2: Malaysia (SYTYCD) has made its way to your local tv channel (8TV).

For those of you who are new to this, let me give you a short introduction about this show. SYTYCD is a reality tv show based in America which has found its route to reach Malaysia (erm, in a way Malaysia has found SYTYCD. If you know what I mean *ngek ngek*). Anyway, SYTYCD is mainly about finding hidden dance talents from all over the country. Dancers, good or bad, register themselves and later have to go through a session of auditions before getting a pass to Boot Camp. There after, these dancers go through a series of eliminations until there’s only left where he or she will hold the title of The Greatest Dancer in the country (or something like that). If you watch American Idol then you should know the drill. It’s quite similar. American Idol being a singing competition and SYTYCD being a dancing competition.

Coming back to the topic, the second season of SYTYCD was shown on 8TV at 9.30pm last night. Nothing much was shown on the first episode though. Playbacks from the first season were shown for about half an hour and the next half hour, a few auditions were shown. I was totally bored throughout this whole episode =S. Double hate playbacks! The auditions were sucky for me too, kinda bland. We’ll see what happens in the next episode. A friend of mine participated in the contest. Want to know who’s the person? Then make sure you check back for updates. (Hint: It’s a she)

For those of you who have missed the show, you can watch the replay here: 8TV: So You Think You Can Dance 2

Wow! I broke my own personal record of staying online yesterday! 12 hours! The screenshot shows 12hrs 50mins but I guy has to eat, doesn’t he? XD. Plus minus 12 hours man! What’s your duration?

Webcam Terror!

Here's what you'll get when you turn on your webcam and decide to go live with someone.

Your friend will click the 'Print Screen' button and send the image back to you.

So, here's what i got. (= =)

Webcammers beware! HAHA!

What a random post.

Currently, my mind has no idea on what to blog about. Am I having a blogger's block?
