Samsung Presents LMFAO Live in Malaysia | Pre-Concert Post

As you all already know, LMFAO's concert has been put forward to 9th April 2012.

Venue: Sunway Lagoon
Time: 8.30pm onwards

sunway lagoon

If you don't know who LMFAO is then you must be NOT a party rocker.

lmfao

They are Redfoo and Sky Blu, an uncle-nephew duo who started off the 'party rock' music with Party Rock Anthem.

Party rock is in the house tonight
Everybody just have a good time
And we gonna make you lose your mind

Since then, clubs all around has been blasting this on the decks, DJs spinning it to remixes and people shufflin' on the dance floor. And the music still is playing till now!

Their other famous hits includes Shots, Champagne Showers, Sexy and I Know It and the most recent Sorry For Party Rockin'.

I've shuffled on cement but now LMFAO is coming to Malaysia for a concert in Sunway Lagoon!
What I would like to try now is to SHUFFLE with all the party rockers ON THE BEACH and drink champagne the whole night! That is why I want to go to this concert so bad.

samsung

is proudly sponsoring this concert. Thank you so much for bringing LMFAO to Malaysia.

So if you are a party rocker, then I'll meet you there!

SNSD and The Dangerous Boys

I sleep when the sun rises and wake up when the sun sets. Have to turn my time back around soon.

Anyway, the semester break has started for me and I'm as free as a bird, that explains my weird sleeping habits. So what do I do for the whole day? I'll only sit in front of my iMac and surf Facebook, watch YouTube and read Twitter feeds.

I'm like wasting my life here but that's just all I want to do now unless you call me out.

Anyway, I've taken great interest in the K-pop group sensation Girls' Generation recently.

girls generation

Which is why I've been catching up with their videos and reality/variety shows on YouTube. I've just recently finished watching SNSD and the Dangerous Boys. It a show about the SNSD girls trying to bring 5 delinquent boys back to the right path. Quite a nice show I must say if you're a SoShi fan.

snsd

By the way, after finished watching the whole series, I've finally managed to recognise the girls individually. It was so hard for me to differentiate one from the other last time because all of them look the same to me. LOL!

They are indeed nine beautiful ladies.

Here's the first three parts of Episode 1 to SNSD with The Dangerous Boys.

hwaiting!

Call Me Maybe - Carly Rae Jepsen | Cover by Megan Nicole

#nowplaying Hey, I just met you and this is crazy but here's my number. So call me maybe.

Currently playing on repeat.

Ever met someone cute and you just have to get that person's number? And that rush you get when you finally got it.

Should I call her?

Falling for pretty girls all over again.

The video above is a cover sung by Megan Nicole, one of my favourite artist on Youtube. She has that sparkle in her eyes that could just capture your heart. *melts*

I never fail to listen to all her new covers.
Did you now she also has an original song titled B-e-a-utiful? You can even download it on iTunes.

Hope she comes to perform in Malaysia soon.

So Nyuh Shi Dae (SNSD) Girls' Generation At Twin Towers Alive 2012

snsd

Just a few hours ago, fan boys and fan girls were flocking towards the Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC to watch their idols So Nyuh Shi Dae (SNSD) perform! And I was there to experience it too thanks to Malaysia Airlines (MAS) as I had won tickets from their Twitter contest.

I headed out early for a quick dinner at Subway, then went on to collect my Premium Fan Zone tickets from MAS.

girls generation

It was Girls' Generation's first visit to Malaysia, also making it their first ever performance here since they were formed in the year 2007! It took them 5 years to come but we the fans don't mind. We can't be more happy that you girls have finally arrived.

Being a big hit worldwide, the Malaysian fans are not losing out this chance to get to see them perform live! As I made my way to the concert area, SoShi fans are already filling up the whole area! Walkways, roads, steps and along barricades. The vibe was massive! Everyone were talking about the girls.

Since the concert area was so huge, I can't seem to find the proper entrance to queue. There weren't any signboards pointing us to the entrance. Just a few huge balloons were placed somewhere much inside the concert area which was still unaccessible before the gates were open at 6.30pm. In the end, I managed to find the proper entrance. Lots of fans were already packed in that area.

And boy was it a pushy-pushy situation once the gates were open.

klcc

Anyways, DJ Prem was up first hyping up the crowd. A little something to get people's mood up and my mood up.

After hours of waiting in line and an hour later than the assumed performance time, the girls finally came out on stage to a loud crowd of fans! The show finally started, one of the main event everyone was waiting for.

girl's generation
this might look good for a desktop wallpaper ~.^

Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun dressed in a white uniform tops, hotpants and high-cut boots (similar to the one in their Genie MV), made all the girls so wooh and all the guys go ahhh! Too bad Yuri wasn't able to make it this time, let us all hope that the full group will be able to have a concert here in Malaysia real soon.

They performed a total of 6 songs which I will post below. I'll grab them from FanCam videos posted on YouTube.

Before that, here's a video of them introducing themselves. Ohmaigawd, I can melt already.

Nuffnang Turns Five At Neverland Kuala Lumpur

This year is the year where Nuffnang turns 5!

Nuffnang held a big party at a Neverland, Kuala Lumpur, a club in the heart of KL. But is the Stickman old enough to enter into a club? You're just five! teehee^^

Anyway, after so many years after joining Nuffnang, sad to say that this was my first ever Nuffnang birthday bash I have ever been too. It so happens that this year, Nuffnang celebrated its birthday in a club that I've never been to before and I would really want to take a look inside; so, I decided to go this year. Apart from that, I went to be happy for Nuffnang as well. :)

Thanks to Dustyhawk, I managed to grad last minute ticket invites from him.

The evening didn't start off too well because it started to rain just as when I was about to go out from my house but as I approach KL City, the rain had already stopped there.

As I approach the main entrance of Neverland, I see many other bloggers dressed in blue as that was the theme colour of the day. Good thing I have a blue tshirt. I seldom have coloured tees last time.

The night started with loads of performances and games with Phat Fabes as the emcee.

It was a great night, had the chance to meet-up with some long lost friend *ahem* CheeChing and also some of the other bloggers as well.

To keep it short, I'm glad that Nuffnang is starting to bring back these big events. I do tend to enjoy going to large events. So let's hope that there are more to come soon!

Happy 5th Birthday Nuffnang!

Malaysia's News Blooper Made It To The Ellen Degeneres Show

Guess what?! Our local news broadcast made it all the way to the other side of the world on the Ellen Degeneres show!

Don't know that we should be proud or what because it was our news blooper. If I'm not mistaken it was the recent blooper on TV3's Bulletin Utama. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The original blooper video was posted on Facebook some time ago. I can't find it now, so to those that have the link to the video, do let me know.

What I do have is the video to the Ellen Degeneres show. It was just posted up on her official YouTube site.

Enjoy!

Why MidTerms Should Be Banned From 100 Percent Coursework Subjects

This will be one of my intellectual + philosophical posts on things that I just don't agree with.

You see, for those who doesn't already know, I'm studying at Tunku Abdul Rahman College (TARC) doing Multimedia Design.

That's MULTIMEDIA DESIGN.

Remember that to heart because I simply don't like people calling me a graphic designer. There's is a difference! Design is not all about graphics okay. Which is why I'm proud to have taken Multimedia Design. It's so much more chio!

Getting back to the topic, all Creative Arts students are under the School of Social Science and Humanities (SSH). So am I.

Basically they have this stereotyping thing going on for ages deeming that SSH students are 'dumb' and just can't do well in exams. First things first, all SSH students are not 'dumb' and okay, most of us can't really do exams which is why we take up creative courses in the first place! 'Cause our right brain works mother-fuckingly-AWESOME! Now ask a business student to draw a human figure and it'll turn out to become a weird zombie.

We all have our own strengths and weaknesses, so don't go around stereotyping people and even worse saying it out loud!

And for the record, I did Form 6 and studied in Business School before and I was mother-fuckingly-AWESOME at studying and memorising and DOING EXAMS! I only changed courses because I figured out that design was what I really wanted to do in life.

Not praising myself, but people who can decide and ACTUALLY KNOW what they want in life are worth to be admired.

Just a little note to all lecturers, NEVER STEREOTYPE SSH STUDENTS EVER!

Dang!

My rant has something to do with the midterm I had earlier today. Saying that SSH students can't do well in studies? Fuck you, I'll mother-fucking ace that subject if it wasn't all for the midterm in a '100 percent coursework' subject.

I have nothing against midterms, but to have it when you clearly said that it is a 100 percent coursework subject just doesn't make any sense at all!

FYI, midterm = exam.

and '100 percent coursework' does not mean and DOES NOT ONLY RELATE TO NOT HAVING A FINAL EXAM at the end of the semester!

If you are going to say that this subject is a 100 percent coursework subject, then why are you having midterms for it? You say that midterms will help pull our marks up if we score low or fail in our assignments but to me midterms are the ones that pull our marks down.

What's worse is that you say that midterm marks are accumulated into the final marks as well. 20-25 percent for a midterm test?! That's like almost pulling you 2 Grades lower if you scored a 0 for that test!

Being a Creative Arts students, we would have lost the ability to actually study for an exam because we use our right brains most of the time. I have to admit, that studying seemed harder for me now compared to last time. Information just doesn't absorb that fast anymore. Or maybe I'm just lazy. I don't know.

If, you took the time to read up till this point, I thank you for your time and patience. Also, you would have guessed that I kinda didn't do well in my midterms because of this rant post.

I have already been against midterms for 100 percent coursework subject ever since I joined this course.  and it's not only recently that I am against it because I did badly in my midterm. I just don't see the point in having midterm exams when you say its all about the coursework and you even make us sit on alternate seats. So exam like yo!

If you're going to have a midterm, never say that it's a 100 percent coursework subject.

Instead, say this,

'It's a 80% coursework and a 20% midterm subject.'

I have now made my say.

What are your thoughts? Leave me comments.
