The Lifestyles of Generation Y and Generation Z

quote

It wasn't very hard to get the topic started.
It just took us a few glasses of red wine.

So the question was, "Would you get into a relationship because you knew it was love or because of responsibility?"

Most of us start off being infatuated, that's when the feelings start to develop which then turns into love. How much do you agree with this statement?

Or do you believe in love at first sight?

Ahhh... That's just bull because nobody and I mean NOBODY feels that way in this generation of life. Everyone's insides are as itchy as ever if you ask me.

Then there's this question of starting it off with a someone if that person has feelings for you. Would you? Will you start a relationship if you know that person is somehow hinting on you?

To me, it depends.

It isn't that easy now compared to the generation before me, Generation X. At that time, I can say that true love truly exists. That's when the term forever love really exists.

So what's with Generation Y and Generation Z?

I might be wrong but from what I observe and know, there aren't many GenY girls available anymore. It's either their already attached or they are career driven. So if you're a guy from GenY, you'll mostly end up with GenZ girls.

But GenZ girls are just so very different from GenY girls. Most of them still in their early 20s or younger. Being born into the world when technology is fully developed, does this mean that GenZ girls are mostly dependent on others and more demanding?

They can be mature for their age but the way they think is different from the GenYs. Why oh why is this so? It makes courting so much more tougher.

...and that's the summary of what went on after having 3 bottles with ma hommies.

Simple Plan Live in Kuala Lumpur

SIMPLE PLAN finally came to Malaysia!

simpleplan

They were hyping up KL Live last Saturday.
Fans came in groups filing up the intimate venue.

The place went SP crazy once they started singing,
and it did not stop until the end of the concert.

It was songs after songs, back to back.
Now, that's what you call a concert!

simpleplan

Their old school songs really brought back memories
and rekindled the SP fanboy in me. =]

I'm Just A Kid
Addicted
Shut Up
Jump
...just to name a few

It was a full 90 minutes performance by Simple Plan.
The venue made it even better as you can get a good view
and experience no matter where you are standing.
Rock Zone, Upper Tier, Lower Tier

...you say good morning, when it's midnight~
-Jet Lag

simpleplan

That night was simply euphoric!
They sang Perfect from their album No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls...
which was the perfect closing song.

Until the next Simple Plan concert, keep on rocking!

Designers VS Artists

designer

Which one are you?

Being in the creative arts field, we have what we call the 'designers'. They make all the creative things in our society. From packaging design, to billboards, web designs, magazine covers, clothings and many more stuff around you. Designers work round the clock sacrificing sleep and rest just to get things done on time.

They are always rushing for time. Clients come first, which makes designers the second class of people after 'the clients'. Most of the time what designers would do is to take note to what the client wants to have in a project and follow each and every requirement up till the very smallest pixel. This might give less room for the freedom to be creative. You are some how restricted. So, do all designers work for money and money alone? Because all they do is to follow instructions and get paid in the end.

Now if you are an artist. You create from your heart and others will learn to appreciate your work. Being an artist to me is a one-eighty turn away from being a designer. There's more freedom into creating an artwork and by the end of the day, you'll have a piece of art that is close to your heart and it will not just be 'another project'.

Can there ever be an intersection between a designer and an artist? If they were, I would rather be an artist who can design rather than a designer who does art.

...but at this moment, I have to be 'the designer'. I guess it's the only way to earn some fast cash.

Man and Wife

marriage

...and from the right and from the left.
To be happy for him when he is right,
and to support and be by his side when is is in the wrong.

A quote by my uncle which went something like that.
I find it to be very true.

That's because I have been thinking about things that happen in life, in this case, marriage.
Why do people get married?
Do they feel obliged to get married at a certain age?
Which is why before this I thought, married was just something people 'have' to do.

Until recently my question was answered.
What a man needs is a woman to support him.

For better or for worse.
