Girl's Requirements For A Guy To Be Their Boyfriend

I was watching this show called Take Me Out Extra on a local online video streaming site (tonton.com.my). I'm sure most of you are already aware of this show which aires weekly on ntv7.

Take Me Out is a new reality TV show where single guys try their luck to search for that special lady among 30 other girls. If they are successful in impressing someone, they will then go out on a date.

This date will then me recorded and shown on Take Me Out Extra (link to show).

So after watching a few episodes, I can see that different girls have different requirements for their man.
Some wants them to be cute, most want handsome and well-built guys. Guys must be charming and charismatic. Must be able to play sports...and the list goes on.

But then again, it's the same with guys.

We request just as much from girls as well.

So girls, what are the requirements you seek for?

I Just Turned Down A Job Offer

job

I was woken up by a phone call this morning, where by I just turned off the ringing tone and went back to sleep. It was almost noon at that time but since it's the holidays, why not sleep in late right? FYI, I woke up around five something in the evening today.

That call turned out to be coming from the company I applied to for an internship position. They were looking for an intern to do design. I got to know this from a friend who is currently interning there as well (received his text message a couple of minutes after the missed call).

After some thought, I decided to turn down this offer. I have a few reasons for why I did so.

One; I applied to intern in this company not as a designer but as an intern who does the usual intern job there. So that I could learn more from there.

Two; If I were to apply as a designer I will probably apply at a design firm.

Three; Knowing the fact that designers have shitty jobs to do and crazy deadlines, I would not want to be stressed out doing design work during my internship.

It kind of disappointing that I could not get the job I wanted but then again, with the time I have in my hands now allows me to start on working on my own dreams.

It has been going on in my heads for months now. Hopefully, my dreams will start to come true this year.

If only I could wake up earlier.

Friends Forever since 1988

Every year during Chinese New Year, the only thing I would be looking forward to are the meet-ups with my friends.

CNY is the only time where the whole group gets to gather at one spot. We do get to meet one another sometimes but most of us only gets to see each other once a year. Sad but true.

friends

We have been friends for a very very long time; 5 years, 7 years, 10 years and some for 15 years! Since Primary 1 okay! Damn, time sure flies by real fast. In just a blink of an eye we're already 23 years old. Old bastards.

These are the friends who will back each other up when in need. Not everyone can do that.

The Lifestyles of Generation Y and Generation Z

quote

It wasn't very hard to get the topic started.
It just took us a few glasses of red wine.

So the question was, "Would you get into a relationship because you knew it was love or because of responsibility?"

Most of us start off being infatuated, that's when the feelings start to develop which then turns into love. How much do you agree with this statement?

Or do you believe in love at first sight?

Ahhh... That's just bull because nobody and I mean NOBODY feels that way in this generation of life. Everyone's insides are as itchy as ever if you ask me.

Then there's this question of starting it off with a someone if that person has feelings for you. Would you? Will you start a relationship if you know that person is somehow hinting on you?

To me, it depends.

It isn't that easy now compared to the generation before me, Generation X. At that time, I can say that true love truly exists. That's when the term forever love really exists.

So what's with Generation Y and Generation Z?

I might be wrong but from what I observe and know, there aren't many GenY girls available anymore. It's either their already attached or they are career driven. So if you're a guy from GenY, you'll mostly end up with GenZ girls.

But GenZ girls are just so very different from GenY girls. Most of them still in their early 20s or younger. Being born into the world when technology is fully developed, does this mean that GenZ girls are mostly dependent on others and more demanding?

They can be mature for their age but the way they think is different from the GenYs. Why oh why is this so? It makes courting so much more tougher.

...and that's the summary of what went on after having 3 bottles with ma hommies.

Simple Plan Live in Kuala Lumpur

SIMPLE PLAN finally came to Malaysia!

simpleplan

They were hyping up KL Live last Saturday.
Fans came in groups filing up the intimate venue.

The place went SP crazy once they started singing,
and it did not stop until the end of the concert.

It was songs after songs, back to back.
Now, that's what you call a concert!

simpleplan

Their old school songs really brought back memories
and rekindled the SP fanboy in me. =]

I'm Just A Kid
Addicted
Shut Up
Jump
...just to name a few

It was a full 90 minutes performance by Simple Plan.
The venue made it even better as you can get a good view
and experience no matter where you are standing.
Rock Zone, Upper Tier, Lower Tier

...you say good morning, when it's midnight~
-Jet Lag

simpleplan

That night was simply euphoric!
They sang Perfect from their album No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls...
which was the perfect closing song.

Until the next Simple Plan concert, keep on rocking!
