Beach Party @ Lost World of Tambun

I came, I saw, I just saw.

My first beach party and I did not get wet.

It was a beach party to celebrate Hari Malaysia but I see more of making sales rather than the former.

Nonetheless, it was a pretty great party.

You can see 'a lot of things' happening in the water if you sit at the sidelines.

And there was almost a fight. Almost.

Maybe I should get wet in my next beach party. Join me?

Happy Malaysia Day!

September 16, 1963. The day when Malaya, North Borner, Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore came together and formed Malaysia.

This year, we will be the first official celebration of Malaysia Day as of every year on the 16 September is declared a public holiday.

But let us all not just see it as a holiday but truly understand and live the true meaning of Hari Malaysia.

I first saw this ad below from Nikicheong.com and I think this is the first ad ever that really gave me an impact.

Walk Down Memory Lane | 4 Guys and 2 Girls Lost in the World of Tambun

walk down memory lane

It was during some holiday that the 6 of us went for a dip in the Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh. My memory tells me this was after my Form5. However, the EXIF information on the photos shows August 2006 instead. I will have a confirmation soon. =P

This will be a post full of photos, 13 to be exact.

Walk Down Memory Lane | Be Prepared

 walk down memory lane
Fast forward a few years from this previous post..

I was in the scouting movement since Primary till Upper Six. The following pictures are pictures from 2004 and 2005, when I was in my Form 4 & 5.

Being in the scouting movement teaches me a lot of things which indeed helps me in life now.

Long lasting friendships are formed where true friendships exists.

Like all scouting and guiding movements, there will be campfires. The following was from our bi-annual Troop Camp.

We've been to numerous gatherings nationwide! Won numerous competitions and danced numerous times to the music of Louisiana Saturday Night!

We've built great mangroove towers! Almost scraping the sky. This one's the tallest we've ever did! Taller than our alma mater, St. Michael's Institution, Ipoh.
