Heading to Pikom's PC Fair Tomorrow! Will There Be PC Fair Girls?

 

Like what the title says, I'll be going to Ipoh's PC Fair tomorrow! Just like every other year, it is held in Stadium Indera Mulia. So, I'll see whether if they have wifi connection there. If so, then I'll be able to update live from the event itself.

But I'll doubt there will be pretty PC Fair models there. 'Ipoh, The Town With The Most Leng Luis' but when PC Fair comes, all hilang. So contradicting with my previous post eh?

Ipoh, The Town With The Most Leng Luis, A Myth Or A Fact?

Ipoh has been commonly said to have the most pretty girls compared to any other cities in the country.

When a person mentions Ipoh, the other would most likely to reply, 'Wah, a lot of leng lui there ah!'

So is this a fact or is it a myth?

This phrase has been so commonly known thorughout Malaysians but how true is it? First of all, who came up with this 'fact'? Did someone actually collected information and plotted it on graphs and calculated statistics to come out with the answer? Is that even possible? I doubt it.

Up till today, we know that it is still not scientifically or in this case mathematically proven but we still use the phrase whenever we hear people talk about Ipoh. Hey, I'm not complaining, I'm just curious who created this 'fact'. I'm also from Ipoh you know. It doesn't bother me if my hometown holds the most number of leng luis. Haha!

Children Of Today Will Become Leaders Of Tomorrow

Children are the leaders of tomorrow.

Children will grow up to be leaders.

Our children will lead the country one day.

I'm sure you have heard of quotes like these before and as a matter of fact, these quotes turned out to be pretty true. It's true, oh it's true, it's damn true!

To make it a better quote, it should sound like this, "Children of today will grow up to be leaders of tomorrow to rule the country like children!"

However to relate it to the present, the quote should be, "Children of the past had grown up to be leaders of today, ruling the country like children!"

Isn't it true? Do you agree? OMG! We are in grave danger!

If you have not gotten the flow of where I am going in this post which I think that you should have already know. I am talking about our leaders. The leaders of Malaysia.

So I was browsing through YouTube watching stand-up comedy acts. So after three to four videos, I came across a video of a meeting held in the Malaysian Parliament. I wonder how that links up? Stand-up comedy and the Malaysian Parliament meeting. Hmm...?

Oh yes, in the Malaysian Parliament, a YB in general has to stand up and give his speech what so ever. If everything goes well, it'll just be a boring speech but if it does not go well, it'll become a stand-up comedy!

Bing bang boom. Words flying across the hall entertaining the whole room and in the end everyone in the hall has switched jobs from being a politician into a comedian. Wow that was fast!

So, i wonder, if they only tell jokes during meetings, how does anything serious get done? OMG, we are indeed living in a jester country.

Haha! If only the things I said above were true. Or is it? Judge for yourself.

How far do you believe in reality TV show? Are they actually for real or is it just all a fake with actors and actresses playing their respective roles so perfectly.

Real or bogus, the famous American TV show, Survivor is already in its 20th season! It is the best season this time around. They brought back 20 former players who some had also winned the one million dollars prize at the end.

The theme for this season is Heroes vs Villians. 10 players known for their deeds and 10 players famous for their duplicity was brought back to battle it out for the title of 'Sole Survivor'.

Who will emerge as the winner? I myself is routing for Russell Hantz (season 19).

Are You Of Legal Age To Vote?

What my question is referring to is the national election or the pilihan raya. So are you 21 years of age now?

When you were younger, do out always want to get older so that you will have the chance to vote? I am already eligible to cast my vote but will I?

To the thousands and millions of voters out there, how many of you actually have a reason for voting or do you know who you are voting for? Or are you just going by your instinct?

I mean voters really need to follow up on politics and what's actually going on around them. If they are voting blindly just because they only know one candidate's name on the list, that's wrong I think.

Vote for whom you think is capable of bringing up the country's name and NOT for someone who call out names during meetings. If you know what I mean.

Being A Designer Isn't Easy

It is becoming a fact to me that I am getting lesser of a creative person. Is it me just being lazy or has my right brain just stopped functioning? Does stress and emotions affect creative brain juice?

Ideas aren't flowing in, I'm looking at the world in black and white and the only music in my ears is silence. Or is it just me being lazy?

Competition is all around me. They are advancing, while I'm losing the race. Or is it me just being lazy?

Designers are often expected to do more than what they can. To be more than what they are now. To create something unexpected and to shoot over that threshold. Now tell me, is that an easy task for you?

What Is The Meaning Of Life To You?

If you have noticed, my banner has been scraped of the word 'Comic'. This means that I will not be drawing any Eggy comics anytime soon but it doesn't mean I'm never going to get back to it. Life is full of questions, mysteries and challenges. Facing one is never easy but we have no choice. Living your life is never easy. Talk about living mine, I challenge you. People always say that there are others out there living a life far worse than yours. Yes, this may be true but does that really help get you through the troubles in life? Where can you find the answers to life? Wouldn't it be great if we can just flip to the back of the page to find the answers.

YES! I am back once again! This time with a slight change to my blog layout, with a simple blog header. How how how? Like it? Hate it?

I'm not sure if my readers are still loyal to me, given the fact that I've been MIA-ing for SO LONG! So sorry Eggy fans. Well, this time arouind I want to start something fresh, yet I do not know what. I seem to be like almost getting the idea but somehow I just couldn't reach it.
