Inspiring

Here's a really short update.

Been browsing through blogs this evening, for some of you the term to say is bloghopping. I manage to come across this post by Sasha. She wrote something quite inspiring. Check it out (extracted from her blog).

Do You Have A Minute or Two? by Sasha
Old age does not defy one from making an honest living. Today I saw an elderly woman, partially balding, waiting at the bus stop. Judging from her attire, she is employed as one of those supermarket promoters (some mosquito repellent brand). If an aged individual can find the will to channel income into their live without doing it the 'easy' way (a.k.a. begging for money), it really disgusts me that fully able middle-aged individuals rather submit to crime for a living. Their lack of perseverance will never earn any respect from me (or anyone else in that matter).

These are the small things that inspire me in life. It makes me want to work harder to achieve my goals although at this age, I am 'supposed' to be partying my life away, enjoying youth. Yet, it is all about giving a head start at a young age. Successful entrepreneurs rising to the top are getting younger day by day - view it in a worldly perspective. Thank you.

My point is, instead of submerging yourself in daily priorities, take a 5-minute chill pill, and observe your surroundings. There are more than a handful of things avoided by our ignorance, which play a role in inspiring us to trudge through daily obstacles. If only we bothered to stop, look, and listen.

Think deep.

Now for the second part of my post. If you still are using Friendster and have now shifted to Facebook or Twitter, then I guess you need to do so pretty much soon because I think Friendster is getting too spammed and fake nowadays.

Have you ever clicked onto a profile (a picture of a pretty girl) and then realized everything written in the profile is asking for sex and play partners and stuff like that? Well, all I can say that it's just the perverts that are wasting their life. Making fake accounts and stealing pictures. I mean, get a life!

If you ever come across these accounts and realized that your friend's pictures has been stolen and made into a fake account. Report these fake accounts immediately. This is what you should do. I browse through the Friendster Help section, typed 'report' and found this:

Reporting spam, abuse, offensive content and other violations of the Friendster Terms of Service

Question

How do I report other users who are spamming or posting offensive content on their profiles in Friendster?

Answer

To report abusive behavior on Friendster>open the profile of member you wish to report>scroll down to the lower portion of the page and CLICK "Report Offensive Content" between the help link and the Terms of Service link.

On the next page check the box(es) that reflect the violation you wish to report> then click "report". Your report will go to Friendster's Abuse Department for review.

****NOTE: IF YOU CLICK ON A PROFILE TO REPORT IT BUT YOU SEE A MESSAGE SAYING, "THIS USER'S PROFILE IS NOT AVAILABLE" WE HAVE ALREADY REMOVED THAT PROFILE AND THERE IS NO NEED TO REPORT IT.****

To see our Terms Of Service (TOS) visit the following link: http://www.friendster.com/info/tos.php?statpos=footer

Start reporting! Damn, Friendster is getting infected with perverts.
